Time to put on my “professional” coat!
I work at the intersection of media, education, memory, and imagination. I explore how media technologies shape not only what people know, but also how they relate to histories and futures.
Currently, I am an instructional designer: a role that lets me practically connect research, creativity, and learning design practice.
My Background
I am an analytical creative.
I like to learn, organize what I know, and teach it forward.

Let me share my journey.
2016
Graduated with an AB in Communication Arts, Cum Laude
I studied Communications for four years. Whenever someone asks what I do for a living, I struggle to answer. Jack of all trades, master of none.
The longer I live, the more I find myself redefining what media really means.
Media is that which life makes possible. Technologies are media.
2017
Lived in Spain and Taught English
I was a textbook people-pleaser during my undergraduate years. I studied so hard that, after graduation, I decided to reward myself with something a little reckless.
I moved from the Philippines to Spain for my first trip abroad.
I spent three academic years teaching in bilingual schools, learning as much from my students as they did from me.
2022
Worked for a Technology Intelligence Company
I was fortunate to spend five years at a company that analyzes the future. I was assigned to the Western European publishing team.
I served as the editorial gatekeeper between research analysts and the publishing editors.
Beyond reviewing submissions for compliance with the research architecture, I audited existing training materials and consolidated fragmented resources to improve the publishing guides.
2023
Graduated with an MA ICT in Education
Under the supervision of Eros S. Atalia, my undergraduate thesis examined how viewers may perceive fictional elements in historical films as historical facts.
My postgraduate thesis in Spain turned from imagining the past to, in a sense, remembering the future.
Under the supervision of Daniel L. Wuebben, I explored how fictional energy utopias in literature could impact futures consciousness in relation to climate action.
2025
Registered as a Self-Employed Instructional Designer
My career has wandered through research, media, publishing, international education, and now learning design.
Across these experiences, one question has remained constant: How can complex information be communicated so that the people who need it can actually act on it?
Knowledge-based courses explain. Action-based courses enable.
2026
Philosophizing on Human Becoming in the Age of AI
In addition to working as an instructional designer, I write essays exploring what it means to become a “techno-human creative” in the age of AI.
How do we relate to our technologies? Is techno-human creativity a compromise, in which AI remains a tool; a reclamation, in which AI becomes a rival; or a fusion, in which AI co-organizes with humans to form a new creative identity?
